Customer Review: the perfect dog bed in my opinion
Keeps the surface of the bed a few inches off the dirty floor, or off the ground if bed is outdoors. The only thing that touches the floor/earth are 4 legs, so the bed stays clean. Frame is so strong it’s easy to quickly move the bed even if your dog is in it (depending on the size of your dog and/or your strengh of course). For extra comfort, a pillow stays put on the canvas-like surface of the dog bed because of the slight dip between the framing members. My dog loves being able to get in the bed from any direction, and being able to really stretch out since there aren’t any ‘walls’. He also feels safe being above the floor. Very easy to assemble. Just takes a minute or two. Tip for assembly: don’t tighten the 4 bolts too much so the bed can level itself on an uneven floor. The frame is very sturdy and strong and painted very well. The Coolaroo material is very durable, and doesn’t ’soak up’ odors, and is a nice neutral color. It can be cleaned outside with a garden hose. The bed is nice looking and doesn’t call attention to itself. The smallest size is perfect for even a chihuahua. Leaves a little dog plenty of room to stretch out. It’s also easy to get through doorways, as I move his bed around from room to room because he likes to stay near me. (They do have larger sizes than the one I bought.) This bed left me not wanting for any better bed. It’s perfect. The fact that it stays clean because it keeps the bed surface off the floor too me is the best feature. It eliminates a lot of the dirtiness associated with having a house dog. (Now is someone would sell a little dog dinner table that’s off the floor. Presently I use a piece of granite tile on top of a piece of plywood.) I selected this bed very carefully and shopped everywhere for one. I feel like I made the best choice. I highly recommend it.

Customer Review: Good for a damp day
The poles were hard to adjust to make the bed lay flat, but with a second person helping me, it worked out fine. It is the perfect size for my Lhasa Apso who is the larger of the small breeds. Dogs longer than a Lhasa should probably get the medium.

Once it was outside in the rain, and when I picked it up, red water ran out of it. The screws must of rusted in trapped water. yuck.

Regardless, I cannot get my dog to use it. I’ve put it in her favorite spots in the yard, by the gate, under the tree, next to the porch, and she will lay right beside it but not on it. I’ve put her on it and given her treats, even put it inside by the couch, she doesn’t get it or doesn’t like it. So, while it may be a good product, it doesn’t work for her!

Les Miserables - The Complete Symphonic Recording

Customer Review: Decent, but not great.
This being the only complete recording, if you really desperately want all the bits and pieces of music that don’t usually make it onto the soundtracks, you’ll probably want to buy it. Aside from that, there is really only one compelling reason to buy this recording, and that is Philip Quast. Though I hate to repeat something everyone else has already said, he really is an excellent Javert — definitely the best I’ve heard so far. Most of the other singers are decent, but not outstanding — I do think Kaho Shimada was something of a poor choice for Eponine, though. While she can sing, and I like her on the Japanese Red Cast album, her heavy accent detracts from her performance somewhat. It was a nice idea to have someone from one of the non-English-language performances on the album, but perhaps they could have found someone who spoke the language a little better. Furthermore (and more importantly), I greatly dislike Gary Morris’s Valjean, which ruins quite a bit of this recording for me. His performance just feels cheesy, and it looks even worse next to Quast’s Javert. Some people do like him, so your mileage may vary here, but I really think he’s the worst thing about the album (and as Valjean is more or less the protagonist and has a part in quite a few songs in both acts, it’s worse than if the weak link were, say, Fantine). So, to sum up, this recording has one outstandingly good performance, one outstandingly bad one, and quite a few decent but largely forgettable ones. I don’t particularly regret buying it, but I can’t recommend it with any enthusiasm. Honestly, my best advice is to get Javert’s tracks off of iTunes and leave the rest.
Customer Review: Probably the best Les Miz recording!
Firstly, I’d like to know why everyone thinks the Tenth Anniversary concert is so great. The quality is terrible, the cuts are annoying, the singers are drowned out, “One Day More!” is the worst version ever because it echoes and has absolutely no clarity, and the old preformers didn’t come close to their previous preformances. Granted, the new people were good, just not my favorites. If it were a “Dream Cast,” it would have Patti LuPone and Anthony Warlow. The only songs I listen to from it are “On Parole” and the encores. It was fine as concert, but not as a recording. But I digress. The Complete Symphonic Recording is a must-have, and if you can only have one recording, get this one. The orchestrations were one of very few things I liked about the Tenth Anniversary, and while the orchestrations aren’t quite that quality, they’re good nonetheless. Now, on to the preformers- Gary Morris- while he may not be the “best” Valjean, he places above Colm Wilkinson for his heart-breaking “Valjean’s Confession” and “The Bargain.” If you can’t imagine an American Valjean, you need to know that Wilkinson is Irish and Valjean is French. Actually, Morris kind of sounds like a young Colm Wilkinson without the wierd stops. Philip Quast- astounding. No one can top him. He doesn’t do the wierd diction that he did at the Tenth Anniversary. He also gets more material this time! Michael Ball- not much to say, but no complaints. Tracy Shayne- clear voice and sounds half Judy Kuhn’s age. A little shrill, but so was Sarah Brightman in Phantom, and that’s the way the part was written, anyway. Her voice goes so well with Michael’s. Kaho Shimada- she sound like Frances Ruffelle and Lea Salonga mixed together. She has the best version of “On My Own” because of extended notes. And she gets more material. Barry James & Gay Soper- James sounds like Alun Armstrong and Leo Burmester toether, and combines the best parts of their preformances. His only fault is “beyond ru-bleah-ies” in “The Waltz of Treachery.” Gay Soper sounds shrill, but I’ve heard her in other works and she didn’t sound the same, so blame the direction. If you just bear with it, she sounds better. Anthony Warlow- he murders enery other Enjolras. He’s fantastic at everything he does. Debbie Bryne- my second favorite Fantine, the first being LuPone. Henshall was good, but she had some nasty notes in “I Dreamed a Dream.” Debbie has some almost-called-it moments, like in “Come to Me,” where she starts to belt the last note, but softens out. In a word, she’s easy on the ears. The company is great as well, and most numbers are more emotional than other recordings. The main benefit of this recording is that it’s the complete show on CD, and the only one that includes the full Wedding Chorale and “Valjean’s Confession,” along with “The Robbery” and a ton of other sequences. I whole-heartedly recommend this CD to any Les Miz fan. My review may be a bit biased because this was the first recording I got, but somehow, I get the feeling that it’s truer than the reviews bashing it.

Customer Review: Terrific food
I have three cats: 15, 4, 3.5. They all eat Wellness, and they’re all remarkably healthy cats. The 15 year old, at a whopping 7 pounds, routinely beats up on her 3.5 year old brother who’s almost twice her size. She has incredible speed and agility–as does the 3.5 yr old, and it’s a good thing he’s a stronger jumper! They’re great friends. Anyway. My 4 yr old was a rescue cat. We found her in the alley with the worst case (actually, the only case) of demodectic mange the veterinary dermatologist (who specializes in these things) had ever seen in her practice on a cat. She had almost no hair when we found her, and weighed under 5 pounds. It’s been 3 years since we found her, and she’s been fed a steady diet of Wellness (kibble and can) for her entire life. Today she is mange free, and her only health complaint is that she’s allergic to almost everything. She’s 9 pounds today, and very, very happy to have found a home where she has been as well loved, and as well fed, as she has been. My personal experience with Wellness, and my experience with many, many other pet owners who use Wellness products leaves me confident to recommend this brand of food to everyone.
Customer Review: Good Idea, bad results…
I took my cat to the vet asking about the best brand of food, and was warned against this brand. This was confirmed when my friends cat - who eats wellness, began getting crystals in her lower urinary tract and this was also attributed to her diet…their vet recommended a different brand of food, and as soon as the food was changed the cat was healthy. Wellness is organic and has good ingredients, but something goes wrong in the preparation and messes with kitties tummies. I personally recommend Innova Evo or Nature’s Veriety if you’re looking for a high protein, low carb food for your cat.
