Customer Review: birdbath
This is beautiful–much sturdier than anticipated. The only thing I didn’t like about it was that the bolts that hold it together stick out and aren’t the bronze color that the rest of it is. Bottom line is..it is better than I thought it would be.

K&H Bird Bath Ice Eliminator
The Ice Eliminator is the first birdbath heater that looks like it belongs in a birdbath. It safely maintains open water to 20 degrees below zero. Its natural color and 18″ cord blend in with nearly every birdbath. Virtually indestructable, its durable enamel finish is easy to clean. The Ice Eliminator is thermostatically controlled and uses only 50 watts. It is completely safe to handle and use even in plastic birdbaths.

Customer Review: Bird Bath Heater Performance
This heater does a very good job of keeping the water clear of ice. However the water must be shallow enough (not much deeper that the heater is thick)to work well. When the water is shallow it does work very well. The cord is extremely short for our application and I would think that would be the case for most applications. We had to purchase an additional short, outdoors extension cord. I think the cord on the heater is about 18 inches long. It would be much better if it were at least 36 inches long.
Customer Review: Bird Bath Heater works great!
This 50W heater works great. Looks like a stone (other heaters are ugly metal contraptions) and uses a trickle of electricity (other heaters use 3 to 5 times as much).
