Customer Review: Very nice aquarium
I love this aquarium. It plays for about fifteen minutes before it goes out and comes with a convenient remote so that you don’t disturb the baby when he/she’s already asleep. Our baby loves to look at the blue lights that are given off by the aquarium and it’s really soothing. The only drawback is that the aquarium can be turned on and off by other remotes. It’s a little annoying for us since our baby’s crib is in our room currently.
Customer Review: Great for nighttime!
We bought this toy after our baby was fascinated by a real acquarium on a trip. She loves it! The fish “swim,” the plants sway, and critters move just like a “real” acquarium. It even has a remote to turn it off after baby falls asleep. The music is classical or water-sounds and you can select the songs to play each time. It also has a self-cut-off timer which is quite long, even with the motion activated. We previously had the Rainforest one, which has no remote, cuts off in like 5 minutes w/ motion, and can not select or fast-forward the music so you have to listen to the same songs in the same order…forever. I definitely recommend the acquarium one over that! This one also has a huge button that is easy for baby to activate. It is difficult to attach to the crib, but you get used to it. Best of all, it can be used past the 5 month period of an overhead mobile. Great buy!

Customer Review: Misleading–”stress relieving soundtrack” is music not natural aquarium sounds
I wouldn’t mind having this DVD, but I bought it ASSUMING there was NO music on it. I HATE NEW AGE MUSIC for the most part because it doesn’t sound good to me. Some I DO like, but it’s pretty rare. I just wanted to have a DVD with an aquarium and the sounds of a natural aquarium with bubbles. I found the music annoying and not a single aquarium sound. I was very disappointed. I WASTED $9.99 FOR NOTHING. I ended up throwing away the DVD. THE DVD CASE IS MISLEADING FOR ON THE COVER AND BACK IT MAKES NO MENTION OF MUSIC. I assumed “Stress Relieving Soundtrack” meant bubbles. No mention of new age music. SO BUYER BEWARE UNLESS YOU LIKE NEW AGE MUSIC.
Customer Review: pleasant to look at
I was looking for something relaxing for our new 50 inch HD TV and I decided to give this DVD a try. First, what I liked about the DVD is that there are 5 different fish tank environments to view and each one will play continously when selected. Also there is a slideshow which was my favorite part. The picture quality is good and there is a wide variety of fish in the slideshow. The soundtrack is very relaxing as well. What I wished was better: The fish tanks are good but not great picture quality. You also see only a small area of the tank instead of looking at a traditional large tropical fish tank. However, what you do see looks good. I do wish they had added more saltwater scenes and coral reefs. I think 4 of the 5 aquariums here are freshwater. All in all a decent, but not great buy.
