Customer Review: Boo boo buddy - Kids love it!
This is an excellent way to put a cool compress on a bump. The kids (1.5 yrs and 4.5 yrs) love it and run to the freezer when they have a boo boo. They know it is there and it puts a little fun and distraction into taking care of the boo boo.
Customer Review: I’m disappointed too!
I agree with the other reviewer, I expected all 3 cold packs and received only the dog. Especially since they don’t let you choose which pack you want, it is very misleading. It is a good sized cold pack and I do like the product.

Aquariums & Zoos
Customer Review: educational and exciting
We have all 4 Popular Mechanics videos. They are among my children’s favorites. They just wish theat there were more. The whole series is very informative, yet presented in a very entertaining way. There are two children who narrate and actually participate in all the activities ina very hands-on approach. My children wish they could be in their place. This one shows how they made the Aquarium of The Pacific in Long Beach. It shows how they built the exhibits, how they dove into the ocean to acquire the fish and the finished product. Full of wonderful information and brought down to a child’s level of understanding. The second part of the video is about zoos. It is also very educational and fun.
Jellies and Other Ocean Drifters
Jellies and other Ocean Drifters approaches jellyfish as an alien species, and when traveling through pitch darkness under the ocean, it can look a lot like space travel, with small star-like particles whizzing by and strange alien jellyfish filling the lens with their otherworldy bodies. Leornard Nimoy narrates to add to the cosmic feeling. The first part of the video is a poetic procession of strange creatures. The second half takes a factual turn, explaining the creatures and the technology that allows them to be filmed. A teacher’s manual is available by request to Sea Studios at (831)649-5152 extension 204.
Customer Review: Ultimate deepsea photography.
This video depicting jellyfish of the deep ocean and the pelagic area is one of the few videos that features the deep ocean as the location for the video. Here, a submersible travels to the depths to view amazing creatures 600 meters or more below the surface. We view close ups of siphonophores, deepsea jellies, and bioluminescent flashers. The viewers may shudder when some scenes make one feel like they are inside the picture, oblivious to the pressure and journeying through the endless depths. Deeper down into the earth, the technology brings photographs of transluscent squids, tiny jellies, and storms of plankton! The deep ocean scenes erupt the price to $25.00, which is worth it. The pelagic scenes also show breathtaking images of enormous jellies carrying formidable tentacles. Since the video is expensive and not going to be around long, ocean fans should pick this up today!
Baby Genius Underwater Adventures w/bonus Music CD
This outstanding collection of Baby Genius DVDs includes themes about playtime outings and little children interacting in the events and places around them. The focus is on entertainment and teaching children in an environment filled with fun and adventure. Animation is combined with children’s songs and includes fun-loving Baby Genius characters like DJ the Dinosaur, Vinko the Dancing Bear and more.
Customer Review: Does not meet the same expectations as some of the other’s
While it is a Baby Genius CD it in no way compares with Favorite Nursery Rhymes and Favorite Children Songs which is the best, after getting all the Baby Genius CD’s I would save my money on this one as it is not able to really keep their attention for very long, not much in the way of children interaction like some of the other’s, maybe ok for younger children, our grand daughter was 18 months when she got it and she watched it the first time and didn’t make it through the entire CD before she was bored with it.
Customer Review: Underwater Adventures
Would be much better if after each segment the screen didn’t cut to black. I know this is so that you can decide if the next segment will be too long for the baby to pay attention, but on DVD’s you could just select a section. There is no menu to do that with though. My baby doesn’t really like it because everytime she gets interested, the section ends, cuts to black and she looses interest. She does like the music CD that came with it though.
Children’s Favorites
Customer Review: Children’s Favorites a solid purchase
This CD mostly delivered what was expected of it. The only critique I have is that some of the tempos could have been cleaner, and that it should be cross-referenced by the other composers besides J. S. Bach.
Customer Review: The perfect package
This is the most wonderful collection to have on 1 CD. Children from birth on up can benefit from this musical collage. Songs from the “Nutcracker” are familiar and comfortable for many children. What child wouldn’t love “March of the Tin Soldiers?” Selections from Saint-Saens’ “Carnival of the Animals” is a must in my creative movement library. Every child should be exposed to this music. Well,I believe every age should be.
