Customer Review: CLOGS with debris from dry dog food Needs cleaning often!
This “big dog” water fountain is NOT as advertised! First, the water level stays WAY too low for our two big dogs - we have to keep filling it manually. Second, the fountain is LOUD, so be prepared for that. Third, if you decide to remove the cord to the fountain (for peace and quiet) the water all runs out the bottom. Only option is to leave the big long heavy cord attached even if it is unplugged, or cut the cord off under the bowl. Worst of all, the filter CLOGS with the crumbs of dry dog food, dog hair, etc, that dogs naturally slobber into water, so the water does NOT stay clear. We’ve had to disassemble and clean the unit three times in two weeks. Didn’t expect that. ON the plus side, it is a stable water bowl that will provide a few days water if you are away. Pretty expensive, tho, for what you get! Buy a big heavy flat bottom ceramic water bowl instead.

Customer Review: Wonderful in SO many ways!!
I purchased this product for two cats and a dog. The dog is a medium build dog (smooth fox terrier). Prior to purchasing this item one of the cats was very particular and would not drink from anything except the bathroom sink or bathtub. She constantly cried for us to turn the water on for her. The other cat never drank from a bowl or asked for water from any other source. I became ill and had to have a few surgeries while my husband was deployed and found that I didn’t have the energy to keep up with the watering habits of the three animals. I also had to switch from wet food for the male cat because the smell caused me to be sick which caused me to worry about his lack of water intake. This product has helped me save my energy for other things! Even with three pets drinking from it I only have to clean/refill it every other day! The once very vocal cat no longer cries for other water sources to be turned on and the male that didn’t drink water at all enjoys it. The motor is fairly quiet and the sound of the water flow can actually be very relaxing. I love the product and as long as I have pets will never be without one again. I highly recommend it!

Period. No muss no fuss no bother. This time was for two indoor cats I have that frontline failed to get rid of the fleas. I’ve used it before with my dog. I lived in a town that was infested with fleas. Before I got the dog, I was covered with flea bites. Didn’t matter how much I sprayed or cleaned. When I got the dog, I used program. The fleas were eliminated in 30 days. Period. Then a few months later I’d get more. Bear in mind this town was infested with fleas. Just one months treatment would get rid of them. We’ve tried pills and the liquid you put on the back of the neck. Both are too hard to do as our cats dont allow us to easily apply ointment or give pills. Bottom line, our cats dont mind eating this stuff! We mix it in with the wet cat food ( meow mix) and they eat it right up, no problems. This product also seems to work as far as the fleas being kept away. We don’t have fleas. So, its easy to give them and it seems to work. What more could you want? No more nightmare everytime flea medicine time comes around is a ggod thing

The materials seem high quality for this crib set, however, the picture they show does not show the exact colors. Underneath the comforter is a bright lime green color, and everything else is pretty much lime green too! Do you see that in any of the pictures they show you? I don’t! The set is A LOT brighter than the pictures show. Judging by the pictures, I assumed the set was pastel. The bib is the kind you have to tie in back, not a velcro one which I would think is much safer than the tying kind they send you in the set. Well worth the price though. Very effective! Took exactly one attempt per pet to permanently keep them out of my living room. No more “accidents” in that room ever since. I don’t even have to turn it on any more. They just stay away.

This is the most wonderful series. We own the Big Aquarium and the Big Zoo. My seven-year-old will watch the Aquarium over and over if I would let him. My four-year-old loves both of the videos and has learned so much. He has talked to me about “endangered” animals and how Rhino horns are made of Keratin. The seven-year-old is just amazed at the behind the scenes information on how big places like these work. He can’t get enough. They learn facts about animals and how they are taken care of by professionals. Not just what the names of the animals are. These videos go beyond that without being complicated or hard to follow. They are awesome and I highly recommend them to anyone with inquisitive kids.

Customer Review: Dealing with a Pekingese galavantor
My Pekingese was going to be confined to a kennel because the fence would not hold her. She is tiny and every time she took off for a few hours I was in a panic. She wanted to herd goats and chase chickens and just be a dog. She is trained to come, sit lay down and walks well on a leash but when she gets bored off she goes. The innotec underground fence worked but did take time to train her. When she hears a high tone she backs away from the noise, if she moves closer she gets a little vibration and she backs away again. She does not go into the shock zone.

We’ve had this product for about 3 years, and absolutely love it. We live on a fairly busy street, and even though we have a fenced in back yard, our schnauser always found a way to get out. We even tried a screw type of stake in the back yard however, within a month, he figured out how to unscrew it from the ground. After that, we used the same steel cable to attach him to the garage, he somehow snapped the cable!

It was when we went looking for him after the cable snap, that we saw him down the street, crossing the street directly in front of a car! Our hearts both jumped and we decided right then and there that since nothing else had worked, we were going to get an electric fence.

We went to our local Menards, and found the SD-2000. It was on sale, so we went ahead and got it. Now, don’t let anyone fool you, putting this thing in is no easy chore. It took us a few days to bury the wire for it. However, once that hard work was out of the way, everything else has been great! In less than two weeks of following the instruction DVD, our 2 year old pup was completely trained! He hasn’t tried to leave the yard since!

Without this product, we feel almost certain that we would have experienced the tragedy of finding our dog in the middle of our street. This is something that no pet owner ever wishes to face, and for that we say THANK YOU! to Innotek.

Customer Review: MAY WORK - but Strong Scent - NOT GOOD FOR THE CATS
I have 5 cats. I have used Litter Secret, which absorbs well, has NO SCENT and lasts. This product does not claim to be fragrance free (but neither do any of the other silica litters and they have not scent) but the smell of deodorizers emitting from this litter is powerful. So much so that my cats that are allergic to deodorants and fragrances started sneezing and my entire room where this product is located has a sort of Clean Scent, and very strong. I would not recommend this litter, for the above reasons, but most importantly, any type of scent in a litter is NOT good for the cats. Litter needs to be fragrance free, free of purple, green, blue, pink granules which are the deodorizers. Otherwise the cats breath these fumes and they walk on the fragrance, then ingest it when they clean their paws.

I have tried various types of crystals, including litter pearls, and I have found that Tidy Cats is the best. I think they would continue to absorb and dissipate moisture indefinately, but the smell becomes unbearable after two weeks. Other brands become unbearable sooner. The claims of two weeks for two cats are true, although be sure to scoop every other day. stirring the litter when scooping is also essential to distribute moisture among all of the crystals. It is essential buy this stuff online, either at amazon or one of the online pet stores. My local Petco sells it for almost twice as much. The cost, based on the above price, breaks down to $2/week per cat. The 8 lb jug fills the box twice. a last point, wait a few hours to scope after the cat deficates. This will keep your scoop and box sides free of residue. if the cat has diarrea, bury it with the scoop and wait a few hours to scoop it, otherwise you will distribute it among the crystals, and the box will need to be changed.

Really, there’s not one bad track on here, and there’s top-notch tracks about street life, keeping it real, AND pimping (what he only seems to be concerned about nowadays). Cop this one now. If there’s one Too $hort album to buy, this is it. Other great ones by Too $hort include ‘Cocktails’, ‘Shorty the Pimp’, and ‘Gettin’ It’. Oh, I was so sad when this didn’t work! It seemed like the answer to my problem. I have a cat that marks his litterbox. so, I bought the tent hoping that even if he sprayed, it would be contained. For the first two weeks, everything was great. But when I moved the tent to clean the floor, I saw that the urine had seeped through the tent’s bottom and stained my hardwood floor. I still haven’t gotten the smell completely out of the floor, and on top of that, the floor laminate is ruined.
Customer Review: You would think paying a lot gets you a lot… nope
First off, the concept is great. Honestly, this is great for the cats and containing the litter fling. Now the reality: 1) Is this really manufactured by Littermaid as well? I know it is, but can someone not take accurate measurements? Assembling the plastic rods was annoying enough, but for the joint connectors to be so dang brittle they snap? That was the first call to them asking for a free replacement. 2) We have the Littermaid Mega Elite pooper scooper. The dang thing doesn’t fit in the tent. The cartridge box hangs about half way out. Hello? Does Littermaid not design these for their own product? Also, this was designed so poorly to move the box in and out of the tent. You eventually have to do a cleaning of the entire contraption, and they sure don’t make it easy. 3)That little flap on the bottom of the entry is utterly useless… and zipping the tent back up is like trying to put on a pair of jeans three sizes too small just after you at at a buffet for 3 hours: Utterly impossible. I had to literally take the tent apart and take a quarter of an inch off of each rod to assemble it in a fashion that I didn’t think the tension was going to implode the tent on my poor cats. 3) The little window flap for the box switch and electrical: Why is it on the left? This is annoying. I need it on the right wall. This is just not convenient. If anything this flap should be on the back of the tent. Recommendations: If you buy this thing, take about a quarter of an inch off of each rod BEFORE you attempt to assemble it. If you don’t, you’ll drive yourself nuts trying to zip the dang thing up and about the point where the zipper fails on you the first time, you’ll snap one of those joints. I modified the tent: I put a piece of wood in the bottom of the tent to allow for easier sliding of the box in and out. I snipped the little lip off to accommodate this. I also attached a vent in the upper right of the tent at the back wall with a exhaust fan of sorts to draw the kitty smell away and out. I have three little computer fans and a plastic flexible dryer vent that links to a port and draws the smell out a vent like a dryer. Yeah, I’m in it for the long haul but you appreciate this when the windows aren’t open and the house is stuffy. Lastly, if Littermaid really cared, they would pick up on this by now. They haven’t and we still buy the darn thing since it is the only one. All I can say is, if it breaks, call ‘em up and tell ‘em to replace it. Don’t throw away the Customer Service paper that’s in the box.

Customer Review: Best Investment for a Doggy Owner!
Hands down, these are the best thing I could have bought for my 14lb Westie! I have a huge king size sleigh bed that I share with my pooch, and was looking for a quality set of stairs. Wood looks nice, but as my father, who does construction says, although it’ll look nice, will be too heavy.

I bought these for $50+ at Petsmart and thought THAT was a value until I saw it sold here for much less!

The ‘carpeting’ on it gives her a nice grip, the plastic, although cheap looking, is nice and light for me to move to clean under it. The height is also perfect for the bed! (Something that is lacking in all the other much pricier stairs Ive looked at.) At first she was hesitate to use it, but after some coaxing with treats, she realized that she can now get on my bed without begging and now uses it EVERY single time, both to get on and off.

This is a must have, especially if you have a breed that is prone to luxating patella like I do!

Since it’s a daily necessity and is very sturdy, I say this is the best investment I could have made, especially since even I use it as much as she does! lol Yes, I am quite petite at 5′ 110lbs, but I use it all the time to get on and off my bed! I’ve had this for over a year now, and it still looks brand new (carpeting is easy to vaccum with my hand held vaccum and wipes down cleanly) The spacing of the steps and width of the steps is so easy to use, even I have no issues using it and I would think my paws are bigger than hers! lol

PS. Ive been told many times and read it repeatedly that if something is too high for my dog to jump ON, imagine how bad it is for her knees to jump off! If not for the convenience for YOU to have to pick up your dog onto furniture, then do it for their health when you imagine the impact on their joints when they jump off!

Customer Review: height is great for high beds
I bought these from a local pet store for my 8 week old beagle puppy. She learned very quickly how to use them. They are perfect for her now but I am not sure how great they’ll be when she is bigger. But if you have high bed these are the way to go. I wouldn’t purchase these for a large dog that is a senior as they would probably be to narrow. I would say great for dogs 30 pounds and under.

Customer Review: Smart Solar never responded
I purchased this product from QVC on a TSV. The instruction manual does not have a procedure nor pictures for installing the pump. (A picture is worth a thousand words.) I went to the Smart Solar website and viewed the FAQ on this situation. The FAQ explanation of pump installation appears to be for a pump other than the one I received. I sent an email to the company on April 17th with my pump model and serial number. Today is May 5th and so far Smart Solar has not responded to my email. Their automated response stated that they would respond. Fortunately a friend was able to resolve the issue and get the fountain working for me. Please be aware that Smart Solar recommends the use of distilled water or rainwater. For people with well water this is a problem. My HOA does not allow rainbarrels on our property for the collection of rainwater. Having to purchase distilled water for a birdbath can be costly. Unfortunately the company representative did not mention the water recommendation during the presentation. And I did not realize it until I read the instruction manual. I am posting this so other potential customers can be aware of the situation prior to purchasing this birdbath. If Amazon feels this review does not meet their requirements that is OK. My only point in posting this was so that other potential customers might be aware of the recommendations etc.
