Without this, the water is just water. It helps to filter the water so my cat drinks more. I’ve tried to go without the carbon filter, but she doesn’t seem to drink as much when/if I do.

These filters are great in the fountain they are designed for. My cats love the water fountain. My only complaint is you have to keep an eye on sludge that might build up from dry cat food. Somehow my cats manage to drop food in the water sometimes.

Customer Review: Vet recommended excellent entertainment, cheap product
This is one of the few ‘toys’ that truly fascinated our 2 cats, and kept them running and entertained for as long as we used it versus playing with other toys for a few minutes before getting bored. We’ve never seen them more mesmerized by this, especially when slowly moving across a wall or ceiling out of reach. After we’d stop, they’d be wide-eyed waiting for it to reappear, or searching for where the light went.

My wife was concerned this was causing a mental trauma. We spoke to a couple vets who said this is perfectly fine and stimulating entertainment both physically and mentally and not to worry.

The problem with this product is two-fold:

a) the batteries run out quite quickly, and they are not as easy or cheap to replace as other laser pointers that use rechargeable AA or even AAA batteries, so look for those instead.

b) the flimsy made item’s button broke within a few months of light usage. cheap to replace the item, but you may replace it often.

FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!! A product that absolutely works.

I can’t believe it. I have purchased product after product over the years and nothing removed a stain to my satisfaction (even carpet cleaning services).

I’m pretty sure I had such great results because I DID NOT treat the stain with anything else, prior to using this.

OK, here’s the story… we are watching our neighbors dog, while they are on vacation. I’m thinking maybe the little one got into our cat’s food dish…. well, as you may guess, it must have upset the dog’s stomach pretty badly. No need for me to further describe the odor nor the consistency.

So, I wiped up all I could with paper towels. I went to Wal-Mart and saw the usual choices of products. I wasn’t going to make the same mistake yet again. I figured I’d do my best with anti-bacterial soap and warm water. Then I saw this new product. I was skeptical, but it wasn’t too expensive, so I gave it a shot.

It worked like magic. (I did follow the directions EXACTLY).

My husband and I have had 3 cats for almost 20 years now. We’ve learned that in addition to a good steam cleaning machine you have to have a good enzyme cleaner for pet accidents. We have tried every product out there and this one is far and above the best.

Our cat had an accident on the way back from the vet and urine soaked the car seat. We thought nothing could get that out. We squirted on a whole bottle of Kids n Pets and let it sit overnight with the windows cracked to vent. Could not believe how in 24 hours it completely eliminated any trace of an odor. We use it all the time on our carpets, cloth furniture, wool rugs, etc. This stuff blows away Nature’s Miracle. We’re so glad we found this product.

First of all, I take issue with the claim that this product is for 6-10 year olds. I am a middle-aged executive and have been continuously entertained by my little desktop pets for weeks now. What could be more fun than watching these playful little creatures swim to and fro in a magical underwater paradise fit for a working professional’s office? That said, I do have a few things I have learned from my time with the Sea Monkeys. Some of these may seem like common sense, but as the old lady says, I certainly don’t have any of THAT! #1. These trains came securely package from Amazon, and my 5 year old son loves them! He’s had them for 4 months, and no sign of leakage. (And believe me, he’s rough on them! He stores his trains in a Thomas backpack, so they are jostled around with wooden and die-cast trains.) The pale blue liquid is clear enough to see the pink octopus and gray shark, and the plastic encasement is very thick. What a fun addition to the Thomas line, especially if your child has the “Down At The Docks” picture book that these trains are based upon.

We lost our first cat to stomach cancer when she was only 6 years old. When we adopted our two new cats, I did a lot of research on nutrition. I found that the grocery store brand dry food we fed our first cat was full of unnecessary carbs and fillers like corn and wheat. Cats don’t need carbs in their diet, because in the wild they would be eating live prey, and the prey’s stomach contents would be the only grains the cat would get. Keeping that in mind, I became an avid label reader. I now feed my cats 1 can of Innova EVO or similar quality food each day, plus 1/2 cup of Innova EVO dry kibble. If I had the time and the local resources to feed a raw diet, I would. But Innova EVO, in combination with other super premium foods and the occasional treat of raw chicken meat, bones and organs, gives my guys super shiny coats and lots of energy. The litter box is also not as stinky since they absorb many more nutrients. I now have two healthy one-year-old cats who look forward to meal times and don’t have any health problems. They are well-behaved and don’t shed much at all.

Customer Review: Great system
We’ve had really great success with this kit. It’s plenty sturdy enough (my cat is 10lbs though so he’s small) and the perforated rings are very gradual. Also, I’ve found that if you move too fast, it’s not irreparable, just save each ring as you cut it off in case you’ve moved too fast and if you have (as my cat showed me by peeing in my mother’s potted plant) just duct tape the last ring you cut off back in place. My cat was completely toilet trained using this kit in 4 weeks - well in advance of what the kit said. I think the key is just to see how comfortable your cat is with each step - if he’s avoiding the bathroom, then he’s not comfortable. My cat would examine each stage we moved to with great curiosity and was always willing to try it and only once tried to go to the bathroom elsewhere. So that’s how I could tell he was comfortable enough to move him along quicker than the kit recommended. And in the 4 weeks that it took him to be completely toilet trained, we went from my apartment to my parents’ house (for winter break as I’m a student) and back to my apartment and then to a new apartment so my cat had to switch and adapt to 3 different bathrooms during those 4 weeks and still managed to be completely toilet trained in that time. He is a pretty confident, curious, adaptable little guy though so I don’t think all cats would have dealt with toilet training and moving 3 times as well as he did, but I really think this kit is wonderful because the rings are gradual (compared to litter kwitter), it’s really very cheap if you think about what you’re saving in litter (and if you compare it to the litter kwitter which was the other kit I looked at), and it’s super easy to use. To cut the rings, I would use a utility knife to cut part of it so that I could then get my scissors in there and cut the rest of it. The only problem that I’ve run into is that my cat likes to play in the toilet water (and drink it even though he has a flowing fountain available at all times) and now that he’s litter trained, I can’t just close the lid to keep him out of it so right now, I have to keep a couple of teaspoons of vinegar in the toilet water at all times (cats hate vinegar so it works to deter him although it’s kind of annoying because I have to do it every time I flush) but it’s so much better than dealing with litter. My apartment does not smell at all anymore - even if he goes in the toilet while I’m not there, and I don’t get a chance to flush it for him until I get home from classes, the water hides all smell of his waste so not even the bathroom smells even if there’s his waste sitting there unflushed in the toilet. This is a huge difference from when we used litter, and he wouldn’t bury it all the way, and it would smell up the entire bathroom. So basically what I’m trying to say is - toilet training is SO worth it, and I very much recommend this kit to help you get there.

I have a baby yorkie and these doors are great (I got 4 of them)! The pressure mounts are really sturdy if you invest the time to make sure you set them up correctly, I can push and pull the gate and it won’t even budge! The gate is only knee high so it’s just an easy step (not to mention it’s good exercise too!). I won’t recommend this gate for medium size dogs because they can jump and hurt themselves, it’s best for puppies and toy breeds.

The Nelson Blue Devil 200 Watt Birdbath Heater with Thermostat did a great job of keeping the water in our birdbath from freezing this winter. Even when the snow fell fast and heavy, the water was still warm enough to melt the snow that fell into it.

This heater kept the birdbath warm enough that steam was emitting from it when the temperature dipped to -15F. and windchill was -45. It has good safety devices and fits easily into my deeper than normal container.

After searching and reading the great reviews, I decided to buy this product. It arrived about 3 days later and I was so excited to try this product in hope it would remove the stains on my carpet but it DIDN’T, it didn’t do a bit, not even the stain from lipsticks, spaghetti spots etc.. Not sure if you had to use this with something else, but the product itself didn’t work for me at all.

Very good product. I have not found anything better in 25 years of having animals around the house. It does take the odor out which is all I have been asking for. It works good on stains too. No chemical or highly purfumed smell.
