Product was delivered extremely quickly, 5 days after making additional shipping payment that was requested by the seller. Packaging was well-done and intact. Overall, fairly pleased with service. Disappointed that sea monkeys did not last for 2 years, our sea monkeys died after 1 & half months because they needed much more oxygen than what was recommended (using million bubble air pump). They need a motor air pump instead.

we give this to my cat twice a day so we go through a lot of it, so the bulk availability with free shipping is wonderful, and we’ve seen great results - she’s much more agile than she used to be before we started supplementing. Only thing is the dosage recommended may need to be played with - we started with 1 capsule a day and went to 2 because she’s overweight and we weren’t seeing great results at first, 2 seemed to be the ticket for her!

Customer Review: Bird Bath Heater Performance
This heater does a very good job of keeping the water clear of ice. However the water must be shallow enough (not much deeper that the heater is thick)to work well. When the water is shallow it does work very well. The cord is extremely short for our application and I would think that would be the case for most applications. We had to purchase an additional short, outdoors extension cord. I think the cord on the heater is about 18 inches long. It would be much better if it were at least 36 inches long.

This 50W heater works great. Looks like a stone (other heaters are ugly metal contraptions) and uses a trickle of electricity (other heaters use 3 to 5 times as much).

I purchased this DVD because I love to have interesting stuff on my flat screen. This is a very good quality DVD with very peaceful videos of marine life. The fish are very calming and the transitions are extremely smooth. This is a great video to leave on while entertaining. The music is very calming. I am also an avid scuba diver so it was also nice to se all the marine life. I hope to see more of these videos in the future.
Customer Review: Spectacular NATURAL coral reef scenery
This “Reefscapes: Nature’s Aquarium” DVD is spectacular! It was filmed in the ocean instead of in a fish tank. The coral reef scenery is really vast and beautiful, the blue water has sunbeams filtering through, there are many types of colorful corals, and SO MANY pretty tropical fish swimming all around. There are 100+ different reef scenes, and each scene blends into the next. Picture quality is superb, I imagine this was filmed in HD. I like to leave the DVD running on a loop on my widescreen plasma, it gives the room a nice atmosphere. The music is relaxing, but sometimes I mute it so I can play my own choice of music to suit my activity. There is also a bonus featurette on the DVD which has close-up shots of the marine life and subtitles that you can switch on or off which give you the name of each creature - my kids love it! I highly recommend this DVD. It’s the finest quality “aquarium” video in my collection so far.

Big Aquarium
This episode in the Big Adventure series certainly lives up to its title. We visit the Tennessee Aquarium located in Chattahoochie, the largest indoor freshwater aquarium in the world. This is the most wonderful series. We own the Big Aquarium and the Big Zoo. My seven-year-old will watch the Aquarium over and over if I would let him. My four-year-old loves both of the videos and has learned so much. He has talked to me about “endangered” animals and how Rhino horns are made of Keratin. The seven-year-old is just amazed at the behind the scenes information on how big places like these work. He can’t get enough. They learn facts about animals and how they are taken care of by professionals. Not just what the names of the animals are. These videos go beyond that without being complicated or hard to follow. They are awesome and I highly recommend them to anyone with inquisitive kids.

My 3 1/2 year old grandson rented this movie from the library. I can’t tell you how many times this was watched in a week! My husband loved it so much we had to buy one. It is a great movie for kids and adults alike.

I thought this was more of a book about building aquariums. It is a book with very nice photos, of very fancy aquariums in expensive places. Not much help for the average homeowner.
Customer Review: Beautiful
When I first started to read this book, I thought that it was only for the wealthy, since it deals largely with huge custom-made tanks in built-in cabinetry, or how to work an aquarium into your blueprints. It even refers to a 72-gallon aquarium as “small”. But the principles of design and maintenance can apply to the more modest sizes of aquaria too. If you are new to the hobby, it’ll help you decide between freshwater and marine, and then whether you want live plants or live coral. It’ll help you choose an aesthetically pleasing location for your aquarium and help you aquascape the interior. I found the plant section to be especially helpful, even though it was a brief overview. In its description of the major plant groups, it mentioned which ones can get by with less light, or without a CO2 system, or with little pruning. And it didn’t put me to sleep like the plant sections of other aquarium books. The last section, entitled “Case Studies”, is really cool. There they take some of the tanks pictured in previous sections and give you all the stats on aquarium size, exactly what filtration was used, lighting, livestock, etc. They also give tips on coordinating the aquarium with the surrounding interior design. The only negative things I can say about the book are about some misplaced and repeated captions. Also, I would have liked to have seen some aerial-view sketches of aquascaping floor plans, showing plant and rock placement. P.S. If you are not going to hire an aquarium installation and maintenance service, then you need to complete your fish education with one of the Complete Idiot’s Guides by Mike Wickham.
