I bought this DVD and I am satisfied with the overall value. Picture quality is OK. It is in standard format, but when I set my TV to panorama mode, the picture looked almost like wide-screen format. So, if your TV supports panorama mode, you shouldn’t be concerned with the standard format of the DVD. Picture looks dark and dull in many places, but it is acceptable, though. It has 4 chapters, Aquarium 1, 2, 3 and Bonus. They are all equally good. It also has two sound tracks - they call them aquatic and ambient. Overall, my rating is high due to the price it is selling for.

Customer Review: I’ve Got Fish!
When I was ten, one of my memories was helping my best friend clean out his aquarium. After that, I thought I’ll never have one of these, and I have not — until now. I love tropical fish. God has created such beauty in their colors, shapes, and even their movement. After some careful shopping, I bought this for myself for Christmas. I wish I had gotten it years ago. I’ve used the adjustments to enhance the lighting, and the overall effect is just beautiful. What a great gift idea this would make! Definitely worth the money. (I’m not crazy about the goldfish screensaver that also comes with it, though) And I will never have to worry about overfeeding them, or keeping the tank clean, or hearing the bubbles all night long, or even worrying about the cat! Whoever the creator/designer was certainly did a super job!

Aqua is a Danish dance group, best known for their 1997 breakthrough single “Barbie Girl”. The group formed in 1989, and achieved huge success across the world in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Although often criticised by the media, the group managed to top the UK Singles Chart with their first three singles, few artists have achieved that. The group released two albums, Aquarium in 1997 and Aquarius in 2000, they split up in July 2001. The group sold an estimated 28.7 million albums and singles. In their prime, Aqua made singles chart top ten in a number of countries where European Dance acts would not normally succeed, including the USA, Australia and Japan. The group also caused controversy with the double entendres in their song “Barbie Girl”, with the Barbie doll company Mattel filing a lawsuit against the group. The lawsuit was rejected in 2002. The group consisted of Lene Nystr?m, Ren? Dif, S?ren Rasted, and Claus Norreen. All the members were Danish except Lene, who was Norwegian. Since their 2001 split, Lene, Ren? and S?ren have all achieved solo chart success, and Claus has continued to work in the music industry remixing other artists’ material. Aqua’s album Aquarium is very upbeat and very fun Dance Music.
Customer Review: Music that is fun.
This is a good example of late 1990s Eurodance. Released in 1997, it is a relatively mature form of “bubblegum” pop/dance, mature in the fact that some new things were being tried with it. It has the hallmarks of most Eurodance, the female vocals, good dance beats, synthesizer and a male rap riff. The first song that most people in the United States would be familiar with would be “Barbie Girl,” but a European would be more likely to recognize “Roses are Red” and “My Oh My.” Other good examples of the genre on Aquarium are “Happy Boys & Girls,” “Doctor Jones,” and “Lolipop (Candyman).” I also really liked the ballads “Be A Man” and “Heat of the Night” and the hybrid song “Good Morning Sunshine.” There are a lot of people who may find the songs on this album repetitive, and in style at least, there are strong similarities, but the songs do have a story, if you listen. As I stated I enjoyed the ballads. Lene Nystr?m has a good voice, and when given the opportunity, her voice quality was apparent. Still, most of the album is late Eurodance, and for fans of that genre, this is an excellent album. Aquarium is just plain fun. If you like to dance, and you like dance music, it is sure to put a smile on your face and a hop in your step. If you don’t care for dance music, or prefer a darker sound, this album isn’t for you. If you’re not sure, give it a shot. There is a little bit of a guilty pleasure to be had in listening to Aqua’s Aquarium, even if you’d rather your friends not find out.

We have all 4 Popular Mechanics videos. They are among my children’s favorites. They just wish theat there were more. The whole series is very informative, yet presented in a very entertaining way. There are two children who narrate and actually participate in all the activities ina very hands-on approach. My children wish they could be in their place. This one shows how they made the Aquarium of The Pacific in Long Beach. It shows how they built the exhibits, how they dove into the ocean to acquire the fish and the finished product. Full of wonderful information and brought down to a child’s level of understanding. The second part of the video is about zoos. It is also very educational and fun.

Two Words- Educational AND Entertaining. It’s a little gorey with all of the first-hand footage of dogfish being caught but I loved the interview with the fisherman himself putting it all in perspective. “I could have been a librarian I suppose, but I chose a long time ago to participate in life.” Good for kids and curious grownups like me.
Customer Review: I Learned Alot!
I love documentary programming like Discovery Channel and being from the Mid-West I’ve never understood how fishermen (not the factory trawlers)catch what we eat. This video shows the nuts and bolts of how this is done and includes great underwater and historical footage. I felt like I was there (except for the sea sickness of course.) I run a small farm and the plight of the New England fishermen is very similar to what we went through in the eighties to save our way of life. This is very educational and just the right length for a classroom.

Customer Review: Never buy again!!!!!!!!!!!!
Upon receiving this item I tried to use it in the VHS section of my machine. The liquid in the bottle was DRY, and the cleaning tape was all over the cassette. I manually rewinded the tape-but when used in the machine - it simply folded up and jammed in the machine. This was not cheap - but useless. I’ve ended up still using my old cleaner.

Not the best HD material I’ve seen, but some of it’s not too bad. There is a huge difference between the 480p side and the 1080p side. My favorite is the coral reef, as it has the best image. My main goal for this disc is not to show off my system, for which I have other, better suited titles for, but rather to play in the background during parties, and for that, it’s does a great job and is very pleasing. Yes, the menus are very slow and brutally simple, but they get the job done. If they don’t work for you, then you might need to update the firmware in your player. I think it was worth the 16 clams. Customer Review: Slightly disappointed
DVD is not bad, although I’m less than thrilled with the HD picture quality. It didn’t blow me away as much as some other titles have. I’ve had no problems with menus as others have and it plays great on my regular DVD player. Overall it’s kinda cheesy and a little overpriced for what it is. My kids seem to love it though.

Customer Review: Very nice aquarium
I love this aquarium. It plays for about fifteen minutes before it goes out and comes with a convenient remote so that you don’t disturb the baby when he/she’s already asleep. Our baby loves to look at the blue lights that are given off by the aquarium and it’s really soothing. The only drawback is that the aquarium can be turned on and off by other remotes. It’s a little annoying for us since our baby’s crib is in our room currently.

We bought this toy after our baby was fascinated by a real acquarium on a trip. She loves it! The fish “swim,” the plants sway, and critters move just like a “real” acquarium. It even has a remote to turn it off after baby falls asleep. The music is classical or water-sounds and you can select the songs to play each time. It also has a self-cut-off timer which is quite long, even with the motion activated. We previously had the Rainforest one, which has no remote, cuts off in like 5 minutes w/ motion, and can not select or fast-forward the music so you have to listen to the same songs in the same order…forever. I definitely recommend the acquarium one over that! This one also has a huge button that is easy for baby to activate. It is difficult to attach to the crib, but you get used to it. Best of all, it can be used past the 5 month period of an overhead mobile. Great buy!

Customer Review: What a sorry movie…
I couldn’t wait for this movie to be over. A friend of mine recommended this movie and lent it to me to watch. Big regrets. It is just too stupid. The story just wasn’t there. It is definitely not for the family. The development of the characters just didn’t happen. The main character, Hope Davis, was sad at losing someone and you don’t know who until the end. It flips back and forth between the guy who dumped her and when her father died. They hint here and there but never really get to the story.

We have had this for three months. Our daughter is smaller, and was just 10 pounds at 2 months old but she is LONG. She loves this tub. The “bump” has never given us any issues. This is the best hammock tub I have ever used or seen. No need for sponges that get moldy or gross quickly. We gave our daughter her first baths in this tub, back when we were supposed to only “sponge bath” because the hammock kept her belly and cord dry. She loves lying in the water and hanging her feet over the edges of the hammock. Bathtime is one of her favorite times. The sprinkler and cup are nice and we use them with each bath, and I love how they attach to the hook and tether, so that when we drain the rub and lean it up against the wall or stash it in the closet, the cups are attached and we don’t have to worry about them. She isn’t sitting up entirely on her own yet so we haven’t used the tub without the sling. But just for the three months we have used it, it was well worth the investment. We initially used it on the kitchen counter, but after about two weeks we started sitting it inside our bathtub. It’s a nice product! the mesh sling dries quickly between baths, unlike a sponge.

I’ve had this product for only 2 weeks but have used it everyday since, twice a day, (lunch & dinner) and couldn’t be more pleased! Being an accomplished cook and owning just about every kitchen gadget and a multitude of knives, I was amazed how much I love this handy item and how much fun it is to use! It’s even nice enough to use the attractive bowl to present an appetizer or misc. items for a party. The knife is very sharp. Using a combination of a cutting board and the Ulu bowl, I had no problems cutting up salad items (spinach, tomatoes, onions, walnuts, bell peppers, etc.) and using the knife to easily scrape up the items to dump them in a salad bowl. And, I even used it last night to prepare and then cut my crispy thick homemade whole wheat pizza crust. Quick and easy! The CD that’s included was helpful to actually see how to “rock” the knife for slicing and to angle the knife for chopping. The cookbook that’s also included has lots of “Ulu Hint” items as well as a nice assortment of recipes (which I haven’t tried yet). Also, I called the company to know if I needed to season the bowl before using (”not necessary but some people use mineral oil to keep it new looking”). The person I talked to in Alaska was extremely friendly. So add good customer service to the long list of benefits! Oh, one more small, but really nice, feature is the slot on the bowl to hold the knife. How nifty is that?!! I guess you can tell I love the product! The price is amazing for all you receive. A great item to add to your arsenal of kitchen gadgets!

Customer Review: You Can’t Make Every Cat Happy…
THIS is the ball that I had been searching for. It runs on an internal AA battery that makes it zig-zag and bounce away from walls, items, etc. It is hard plastic. The tail is a nifty item, but not necessary, even though my cat likes furry stuff. The batteries will die down after a while and you do have to manually replace them, but is that such a big deal? It is not so great on rugs, but vinyl or concrete floors are perfect for it. Cat get nutty playing with this!

My shih tzu just loves this item. I do not use it with the batteries, that part he is not to fond of. But this is his favorite toy. He grabs the tail and just whips it around and growls at it. He chases it and can go on and on for hours. My cats did not like it, with or without batteries. But I have 2 of them for my dog. If he ever loses them I will HAVE to replace it for him.
