I received the Oster Mane & Tail Brush as a gift. I use it more than any other cleaning tool. If I do a quick clean up on my horses sometimes it is the only tool I use. It makes a pretty good curry comb, then a rough brush, then does a great job on the mane and tail. The handle is especially ergonomically superior for my sore hands. I couldn’t wait for this movie to be over. A friend of mine recommended this movie and lent it to me to watch. Big regrets. It is just too stupid. The story just wasn’t there. It is definitely not for the family. The development of the characters just didn’t happen. The main character, Hope Davis, was sad at losing someone and you don’t know who until the end. It flips back and forth between the guy who dumped her and when her father died. They hint here and there but never really get to the story.

What a great litter box house! I’m very happy with this purchase. It was a little difficult to put together, took about 45min and some pre-drilled holes were not lining up correctly. But once put together, looks and feels expensive. Wish they made other colors! (Black or wood-colored, please). I use Cats Rule litter pans, and they fit perfectly inside, no more than 1/2 inch clearance on all sides.

I’ve had this product for only 2 weeks but have used it everyday since, twice a day, (lunch & dinner) and couldn’t be more pleased! Being an accomplished cook and owning just about every kitchen gadget and a multitude of knives, I was amazed how much I love this handy item and how much fun it is to use! It’s even nice enough to use the attractive bowl to present an appetizer or misc. items for a party. The knife is very sharp. Using a combination of a cutting board and the Ulu bowl, I had no problems cutting up salad items (spinach, tomatoes, onions, walnuts, bell peppers, etc.) and using the knife to easily scrape up the items to dump them in a salad bowl. And, I even used it last night to prepare and then cut my crispy thick homemade whole wheat pizza crust. Quick and easy! The CD that’s included was helpful to actually see how to “rock” the knife for slicing and to angle the knife for chopping. The cookbook that’s also included has lots of “Ulu Hint” items as well as a nice assortment of recipes (which I haven’t tried yet). Also, I called the company to know if I needed to season the bowl before using (”not necessary but some people use mineral oil to keep it new looking”). The person I talked to in Alaska was extremely friendly. So add good customer service to the long list of benefits! Oh, one more small, but really nice, feature is the slot on the bowl to hold the knife. How nifty is that?!! I guess you can tell I love the product! The price is amazing for all you receive. A great item to add to your arsenal of kitchen gadgets!

As he put together a Salt Water Aquarium, he discusses all the steps, (including tips and tricks). I’ve learned a lot and I feel that many folks will love it. Aside from reading just Book on reef keeping, a visual discussion of this topic was really helpful for me and these videos are the only one I found throughout the Internet. I highly recommend that you get all three of the series.

This is the scratcher box that you want for your big kitty. Mine loves this scratcher. Matt parks himself on this after he has done his scratching, and he actually likes the toy. The construction of this scratcher is very good, and it will stand up to a strong, big cat. The last time I bought this in Trader Joe’s, they were $8, but that was before tax. Since this is a 4 for 3 item, you can actually purchase 4 for $30, making the net item cost around $7.50 with no tax or shipping. I highly recommend this scratcher for your bigger than average cat.

i really enjoyed the movie and i liked how it ended. you don’t know if the 3 people left live or die. i hope because of that ending they come out with a second movie so i can find out if the main character, his brother and his girlfriend live and so i can find out what else happens to them and the dogs. i am looking forward to keeping an eye out for the second one in case they make one. Customer Review: Not Best In Show, But Not Bad
This movie was better than I expected it would be. The script allowed for some genuine character development. The 20’s-somethings who gather on this remote island for a weekend vacation are given a range of sympathetic qualities, some stake in life - so we care about their fates. It’s the dogs who are the real stars of this show though. The close-ups of their intent brown eyes draw you into the canine mind. The producers/director of this film prided themselves on the fact that no computer-generated graphics were used. All the dogs in action are real dogs. Some dogs were Hollywood veterans imported to the site of the film shoot (which was South Africa) with their trainers; others were local dogs enlisted and trained on the spot. The reasons given for the dogs’ aggression in the movie are unfortunately muddled - a defect in the plot line. On the one hand, the young people discover that these dogs are the result of some genetic engineering that seemed to have been wrought on the dogs’ ancestors. But on the other hand, people who are bitten by the dogs soon develop some strange illness, a malaise spotted with outbreaks of rage. This would suggest a viral or bacterial infection that isn’t quite rabies, but that threatens to be a fatal biological time-bomb nonetheless. We are almost led to suspect a transmission of werewolf tendencies, recreating Lon Chaney’s Jr.’s frequent film fate. As impressive as the dogs frequently are, they could have been used to greater effect. Their attacks are too sudden and predictable. There is none of the slowly gathering menace found in “The Birds.” Also, one of the characters is made to pronounce the all-too-trite indictment of any meddling with nature. To the extent that an eccentric uncle’s genetic engineering is held responsible for these dogs’ temperaments, he receives the ultimate reproof - “He was trying to play God!” Oh, if only once biological tinkering was allowed to result in something other than a tragic lesson against hubris. This DVD doesn’t have any Director’s Commentary on it, which was a little disappointing. Since horror mavens Wes Craven and Nick Mastandrea were both involved in the making of this film, it would have been informative to hear their tag-along philosophizing about the genre. However, there is an interesting extra showing how the dogs were trained and made to appear to be crunching into their victims. Hardly any of the human stars of this movie were left unscathed by the rehearsals or actual filmings. The dogs sometimes missed their decoy targets and chomped into real flesh. So the attacks you see are often more fact than fiction. Overall, this movie probably won’t be one of the most memorable you’ll ever watch, but it does have some bite to it.
